This course presents the ideas and techniques fundamental to digital communication systems; it targets to provide a solid knowledge about the basic structures and fundamental principles of modern digital communication systems, the commonly used techniques of modulation, source coding, and channel coding. Also, to help participants to understand the concepts of information, entropy and channel capacity use
