Training Fiber Optical Network Engineer (JFONE)
INTRODUCTION
Participants in this workshop will learn to perform the measurements needed to install and maintain optical links. The major aim of the workshop is to learn how to use the instrument to obtain optimum results as quickly and efficiently as possible. Key features of the instruments are discussed. Different types of fibers are measured and the interpretation of the results helps participants to gain insight into the physical back-ground and working principles of the instrument. Participants can bring their own results to the workshop for even greater benefit. Our training offers the possibility to familiarize with basic operation, function and SETUP of the measuring instrument. The participants learn the employment of the measurement device and how to use it in the field more effectively.
